  12. I have just invested in the SmartLink 2834A 28.8 modem and I was 
  13. wondering if I'm doing something wrong here. I can't the cps rate above 
  14. 2000 which is supposed to be pretty low. I don't know which things to 
  15. touch in the modem profile (some of the registers seem pretty strange - 
  16. read non existing, at least according to the responses i get when trying 
  17. to read the s62 register!)

  19. I would be very happy if a kind soul out there would post me, preferably 
  20. by e-mail, his/her modem profile (if it's working any better).

  22. btw. I'm using an amiga4000 with the 8n1.device - is this wrong?
